The Just Culture Initiative
In 2015, the Health Quality Albertaheld a one-day symposium on just culture for a broad group of healthcare organizations in Alberta. Participants recognized that a just culture throughout the healthcare system will strengthen our collective commitment and ability to continually improve the safety and quality of care provided to Albertans. They recommended that the Health Quality Albertalead an initiative to develop a toolkit of resources to assist organizations to develop and spread a common approach to a just culture.
